One thing I'm having trouble understanding is OpenWRT's LuCI firewall rules. The basic idea is all traffic coming in from the LAN port is forwarded to the VPN interface and packets are masqueraded behind the VPN interface. If the VPN disconnects, then traffic is dropped and no ip is leaked.

I have been fooling around with the second one, and the Luci GUI for traffc forwarding, but i wasn't able to get a meaninful result. After some time, i archived that my clients do indeed send their DNS traffic over to my DNS server, but, and this is the bummer, the route is: client -> router -> DNS server -> router -> client - for all clients LuCI is a new approach for a web user interface for OpenWRT. It aims to be free, clean and extensible. While most similar configuration interfaces make heavy use of the Login to the LuCI web interface, and then go to System -> Software. Install the openvpn-polarssl and the luci-app-openvpn packages on your system by putting the name of the package in the Download and install package: textbox and then click OK. After the packages have been installed, refresh the web page. LUCI molding is a wooden baseboard molding which serves the same purpose as standard molding. It is installed to conceal the area where the wall and the floor meet, wrapping around while unifying every room and creating a 3-Dimensional depth to your home. LUCI GLOBAL is not a software license, but an app that works as a download and install for anyone who wants to contribute live to their preferred radio station. LUCI GLOBAL is available for all platforms: iOS, Android, MAC, Linux and Windows. LUCI GLOBAL has the same user interface as the LUCI LIVE Lite and LUCI LIVE SE app.

I doubt that LuCI will work on anything but OpenWRT - it is designed to work with the OpenWRT configuration, scripts, etc. I'd imagine it would be the same for Gargoyle's web interface. One alternative is WiFiAdmin, which seems like it should work. You could also use something like WebMin.

As of Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 6.1, you can configure some aspects of luci 's behavior by means of the /etc/sysconfig/luci file, including the port and host parameters, as described in Section 3.4, “Configuring luci with /etc/sysconfig/luci”. OpenWrt can be configured through either a command-line interface or a web interface called LuCI. OpenWrt provides set of scripts called UCI (unified configuration interface) to unify and simplify configuration through the command-line interface. Additional web interfaces, such as Gargoyle, are also available. OpenWRT is a powerful Linux distribution for embedded devices, such as my router, and this is the story of how I used it to double my bandwidth at no extra cost to myself. Sep 04, 2019 · Transmission, high performance, with CLI, web and remote interface. In this tutorial we're going to use rtorrent and luci-app-rtorrent, for a easy web based torrent downloading. Rtorrent works very well with openwrt, could be automated with a configuration file, but the ncurses based interface really sucks. The LUCI-10 USB control interface establishes the link between the FEMTO unit and a standard Windows PC with USB port. The interface is bus-powered through the USB port and the electronics is fully integrated inside the D-Sub hood. Thus, a very compact and easy to use interface solution can be realized.
